I have a jdm 99civic si with a b16 engine, I want to change the piston rings but I'm not sure what rings to get that will fit the 81mm wiseco pistons in it Will npr rings work? Thanks

ok but i keep getting mixed info, can i use the regular npr rings or do i have to get the npr rings made for wesico pistons?

 

wiseco, supertech, cp and je uses the same of piston rings.all are made in japan. npr is made in japan too. buy regular npr rings and keep this thread updated. u can use hastings chrome race too.

Thanks alot for this response, it has shed alot more light on my issue, the problem is I live in Jamaica and they only sell regular npr Honda rings here not the wiseco rings and I need the car to drive to work so I don't want to pull the engine until I have d rings so It won't have to stay in the shop for long, if I'm to order the wiseco rings online it wud take me 2 weeks to get then to Jamaica so it would be much easier to use the regular Honda npr rings that are sold here. I'm gonna get the regular ones and update the thread after I pull d engine, thanks
