Default How do I clean this?

I'm starting my first build, trying to clean everything inside & out, how do I go about cleaning the jnside where the spark plugs go? Obviously taking out this old *** spark plug first but then how do I clean it? Can water get in it?

if the head is still installed, keep the plug in. pb blaster or any penetrating oil, and a wire bottle brush should do the trick. then blow it out with compressed air.

If this is a rebuild, the head is coming off anyways, right?

Head is off, I would wire wheel brush it with dremel and dremel extension tool..

Brass brushes are softer than the steel tubing so should clean the stuff off while not taking any or much tube material.

Then a little brake clean and compressed air and that part should come out spotless.

Thanks everyone, I'm probably gonna be bringing it to someone for a professional cleAn with a hot tank, I mean I feel like I'm better off for a complete fresh start. But I'm definitely gonna keep everyone's opinion on mind for my weekly cleaning after I actually get my motor on the road.
