Engine build shop in SC/NC?
I'm located in upstate South Carolina and I'm looking for a shop experienced in working on B series engines. Built my GSR engine myself and found it's burning oil. Looking around forums I found it's an issue from not using a torque plate causing cylinders to warp. I figured I could go ahead and get my engine built properly with some we sleeves while I'm at it. After a bit of searching I found some suggestions from threads older than I am and sadly all the shops they recommend are no longer in business.
What is the condition of the piston rings and valve guides? That’s usually the causes for burning oil. You can send the bare block to CSS to have them close block it. Check the cylinders thoroughly for hairline cracks.
