Default b18c5 w/supertech valves ?????

My engine was burning oil so I decided to rebuild it. I noticed two of the valve guides were f'ed up really bad under the valve seals and several of the valves had abnormal wear.( I can post pics if needed) I had a machinist replace the guides and I just got some new supertech valves for super cheap. Would I run into any into any problems if I used the new valves on oem valve train? (new oem keepers) I read the forums about the springs getting replaced and using oem valves.

Thanks

Theres nothing wrong with it imo, but while youre having the head rebuilt its good insurance to put in new springs, keepers, and retainers. Never hurts to replace old oem parts with new parts.

No problem. Make sure you use oem valve guides. The bronze guides wear out after 15-30k miles from what ive seen. Its because theyre so soft vs the stock stuff.

Iirc the price between oem vs bronze isnt too terrible.
