I took this head apart to do some measuring and discovered the intake ports not aligning with the valve seat inserts. I began taking measurements and it seems the long side of the port is shifted! Has anyone had success welding these areas up and reshaping this?
i'm pretty sure thats how most engines look from factory, and this is where gains can be made with some DIY headwork.
there are a million vids on youtube explaining how/where to manipulate a honda head for a boost in HP.
seems like you're a competent diyer and all the disassembly work is done, why not give it a go?
