Damn... Sedan drift cars are just awesome looking! Not to mention, you still have room for good times. ;)

The reason why prob is that the support in between the doors add support to the car and they make the body stiffer which makes the car alittle more twitchy.
Anyone know if a early-mid 90's 4 door japanese drift car in the US exist? They're cheap, plentiful, and probably in good condition cuz most people who own them bought em new, kept them in good condition and never did any racing with them WHATSOEVER. All they need are ATM (auto-to-manual) tranny swaps, some brake & suspension work, maybe a body kit to go with the rims to get that real VIP look, and some freshening up, and you got a big body 4dr that's original cuz NOBOBY does much racing with them! Plus they both have 32 valve V8's that can be twin turbo'd or built for N/A power. Unless you HAVE TO swap a smaller Inline 6 in it to be more like Japan. AND they can be bought at a junkyard FOR CHEAP if one ever blowsor if you need parts! And what about BMW?! Y'all forgetting the 3 & 5 Series? The 97-01 7 Series trannies have been swapped for M3 manuals...and running on tracks (not a lot of course). If you got the bread, do it! I WOULD!! |

Re: Four Door Drift Cars
I"m sorry but the early q45's have the recall the causes the engine to go bye bye. The same years LS400's can be found in good shape for 500-1000 and have 5 swap speed options with tons of aftermarket support(does take some work though). I love the Cressida's since I have own/ed three, it just depends on what part of the country you live in for availability.

Someone said it. Lexus and infiniti make them. They're the CLOSEST you'll get to their japanese counterparts. Y'all talking about the Cressida (of course) and IS300 GS300/400/430. But what about the big body LS400?! The G35/37 is a good pick, but what about the big Q45?!
