I was just wondering why? Is it the reference to street racing or its the acutally
**** talking thats going on. I guess understand if its the **** talking, but I think the
street racing is a part of the whole honda scence. just my 2 cents.

Thanks to burp and Jerry built crew for giving Trackmaster props about the conduct

involving street racing. Yeah we lost to Jerry last night, but you guys were cool and we paid our debt. All this street racing drama just puts a damper on just trying to have fun and trying to gain respect. Hopefully we will see you guys around soon

I don't think street racing is the wisest endeavor.
Take it to the track-if the car's too fast, you can still get your race in before they kick you off. Be safe.

I'm with 2.0literDC2, too much thread locking going on. I think the moderator should post a reason for locking the thread at the end of it, before locking it. And what's up with all this "in before the lock" crap going on? Are we still playing kid games?

I agree with burp, its all about respect on the streets. Yeah some people dont think its important and rather run events, but others have a different opinion

 

Threads get locked because they are ghey.

 

What's ghey? Ghey is an opinion. Which we are all entitled too. Which is exactly the reason why we shouldn't be locking as many threads as have been. Some, yes it is necessary, but don't forget the people posting the threads being locked also have opinions, maybe their threads shouldn't be locked because their opinion is different than yours.

HONDA-TECH is suppose to be a tech site.....not where you set races up....go to the kill section and try posting it.......this forum is suppose to help people who have questions about drag racing.......i like hereing you guys **** talk and talk abotu street racing...just this is not the right forum for it.

I think you have to realize that regardless of where you do it, how you do it, and what speeds you're going, it's highly freaking illegal and cops go after street racers like no other.

I'm not saying the cops can do anything, or that they would, but no .COM site wants to be tied to, linked to, or evidently sponsor illegal street racing. And it IS the wrong forum. Drag Racing is for tech, Kills section for how you fare against or who/how you beat, etc.

i agree. however, i thought it was cool how when the cop came the first time they tried to race... he didnt do anything. just scared everyone away.

 

the reason these threads get locked is because its all he said she said ****. why dont you guys just go to the track and race heads up. dont tell me there arent any tracks local. Time slips dont lie. people do. its just that simple. there is always an excuse of "he started before me" or "he didnt go through all the gears"....dammit just go to the track and race heads up. no 5-0 to bug you and a christmas tree to makes things even.

cause some of us like to race from 60 up. Havent yet found a track that allows that. I like to race to see whos car is faster, not who hooks better, or who has better reaction time. thats why i do it. IBTL

 

The only respect I dish out is to racers that build there own cars on some kind of budget. Not the guy that simply drives his car down to the shop with a list of to-do's. Dont care much for the guys that have deep enough pockets to do whatever whenever.

Dont get me wrong the guys with the deepest pockets usually go the fastest and I will readilly admit when I am beat but will always give the respect to the mechanic not the driver.
