the lack of valve guide on that head scares me and gains nothing in real world flow number and not worth losing valve stability at high rpm.

Cant go wrong with a 4piston head

since where on topic...is there a difference in a head made to flow 300cfm for turbo and for all motor...lets say a head made for turbo...300cfm at .5 lift...what would be done different for an allmotor setup...and also the oposite...

Everyone needs to remember it's not all about the flow numbers...that is only a small part of the equation. I've seen a k-series head that flows something like 35cfm more than another ported head but made like 20 less whp over the entire curve.

My head on my car was done by Jim Stewart. It makes a lot of power and early but he ended up putting o/s valves in it contrary to my request and also the valve guides ended up being higher than stock which caused valve seal to retainer clearance issue. Right now I'm also looking for someone who might be interested in fixing the guide issue and maybe getting some bowl work done, but I am not finding a lot of guys who want to work on/fix other people's work.

My PortFlow head looked amazing, great work and pricing was very fair through Mike @ Laskey Racing for all the work and components used. Definately was beyond my expectations and was extremely pleased.

Heard many good things of alot of those mentioned above as well, alot of quality work being done by all of these well known companies being listed.

Cant go wrong with a 4piston head
IIRC, RLZ flushes the guide with the port as well from my conversations with them...

Not true. See my pics above.

You don't gain much from flushing the stem, plus it's a bit of extra insurance to leave it there.
