Default Wheel selection for drag racing?

Well, I need new tires because my michelins are shot so I am going to pick up a set of rotas with tires on them. I don't have a car that puts out insanely high hp numbers but when I run the 1/4 mile I would like to have every advantage i can get. So my choice is between a set of 16x7 rota C8's or 15x6.5 slipstreams. Personally I like both designs, I realize the C8's have half an inch more width but they also are taller. I am wondering which wheel will help me get better traction off the line? Also, what is the weight difference? Let's assume both wheels have Yokohama ES100's on them. Any help would be appreciated.

My setup is what's in my sig. intake/header 94 GSR. Eventually, exhaust/cat/vafc/cams.
