All these people must live close and bring him 64once big gulps, and alot of twinkies for payment, because he sure as hell won't call you back, he's still spending my money on all there motors, so in a way I guess we all sponsor the all motor class and his eating habit

From what I know edelbrock dropped him cause of so much stuff wrong with his motors. I have a friend that delt with him as well.....motor smoked from day one and dropped a sleeve before the break in was even over.

2 Reason why edelbrock dropped JG one was javier got a little greedy and asked for more money then edelbrock was willing to pay for the new line of product he was supposed to design second was there was to many rumors of javier still making product for people after he sold the rights to edelbrock for some of the designs in the first JG/Edelborck catalog

nope he didn't and i also know who did...

 

I have been dealing with JG for a few now and never have had any problems. always got my stuff quickly and it look/preformed well

Thats not what I'm saying at all, and I'm not defending the guy, I just don't like to badmouth people, dicourage others from their business yes, its hard to recover a reputaion. I lost alot of money from osaka, I wouldn't recomend getting an engine from them, but I'm not going to bad mouth them.

but lets see phat you would rather have your reputation ruined at the same time? and as a business i went ahead and took care of my customer. that way at least my reputation is in tack. but i will not lose all the money i had to spend to fix javier's problems. and wow how about that a crook tring to make money on top of money by still tring to sell the same product after he sold the rights to it and then still wanting more money to produce for edelbrock. sounds like someone really is greedy! so lets recap here shall we i shouldn't get mad at javier because his empolyees screwed up i shouldn't sue him for the almost 10k i had to shell out to fix his problem with his engine and i should just walk away and chalk it up to a learning experience. man sounds like you are just to forgiving. i wish as a business owner i could do that and let me tell you i don't like coming on here and bad mouthing anyone but when you have no other recourse with another business and the owner will not return your calls, e-mails or even faxs what are you supposed to do to keep other people from going trough this same problem? if i lived in cali. it would be a different story but i don't i live in florida and have to do things differently!

Can't go wrong there. I have had major problems with the best businesses in the industry. I have NEVER had problems doing things local.

 

i use jg engine dynamics over everyone else....not because they are better ...........but because they are FREE!!!!!!...

 

I never said you shouldn't sue him, if he took your money its your right to get it back if you can, and it sounds like he isn't running a very tight business, but its not worth arguing about to me, I have better things to do with my time

 

I'm realy not trying to get in a pissing match or defend the guy, if he owe's you larg amounts of money then you have every right to get it back

That statment is not true.
Archie made javier when javier was working out of his garage.
Then javier got his shop where he is now. At that time all of the wicked guys showed javire what to do. So as for Javier being the godfather of inport drag racing that is not true. If it was not for Archie Myles Steph All of the Wicked guys javier would not be in business!

i'm not trying to argue with you either but when you said don't get mad at the owner for what his empolyees do that is just wrong! he is as much responsible for the product as the people who work for him! i stand behind my mechanics and fabricator for everything that we do. if i'm not here i expect my guys to uphold the same standards of business that we set forth everyday because regardless of where your position is in a business it takes everyone there to make that buisiness. now don't get me wrong you will always have problems that is just part of life but if you can prevent it i'm sure anyone would try.

I would be curiuos to know about who built your engine, ditto with your tranny on the high 9 runs and low 10's

I wasnt tripping...

Bubba from Trackmasters does build my engines and trannies.
The block is sleaved by JG & the head is ported by JG.
