TYRE SIZES?

Default What size drag radials?

hi

i was wondering what size drag radials i should run with my setup
im wanting to buy bf goodrich g-force dragradials to put on my new 14/6inch rims

heres my details:
i have a 91 ef9 sir b16a1 with y1 gearbox (4.266 final ratio)
mods:
dc sports 4-1 jdm header
skunk2 coilovers
brass button clutch
heavyduty pressure plate
lightweight flywheel

curent PB: 14.117@96.2mph (without header or flywheel)
2.07 60ft
9.03 1/8
falken azenis 205/50/15

any help would be great

tire and/or tires are the correct spelling of the word... not tyre or tyres

Actually, in some countries, it's spelled with a "y".

actually in almost all countries except for ours.. and it isnt wrong to spell it tyres in america either

I forgot this was a US site

by the way,
does anyone know what size tyres i should be runnin?

get a 15 inch rim

and then use the 225/50/15 bfg g-force drag radial

Too big for what he has, the 225 is simply too big for what you have. I'm running the 205-50/15 with 188 whp/134 trq in a 2700+lbs car and getting 2.0-2.1 60' times. Since you're running a 14" rim go with the 205-50/14 or if you're going to add in more power go for the 215-60/14.
