Just wondering how you guys get your busted cars on/off trailers(or engine-less). I built a cool lil gizmo, basically a boat-trailer crank winch. Wow, does it make things nice!
Pics will be up later today.
Just seeing if anyone else has done this!

at 5'7", 160 lbs, I cant push too much around. 200ft head starts and slamming the car into ramps, breaking them, AND the car is how I used to do it. F*ck that!

I hear that. I am same size and can't do it by myself either. We had looked into getting a winch, but I want to be able to move it in and out of the trailer. That way I can put it in my garage when i need to pull the car up that steep *** drive. We just haven't had enough time to do it.

post some pics of what you got.... i want to make some home made deal for mine also, smashing the ride into the trailer is beginning to lose its flare.

Sorry for the delay, crazy weekend.
I shouldve painted before a trip on salty northern michigan roads. Oh well, maybe later.

I can tell ya it's easy. I have a similar hand cranking winch on my boat trailer and I know my boat weighs more than my car. You could propably buy a hand winch and a long strap at a local boat shop.

Its VERY easy. With a boat, youre working with friction...
With a car, it just rolls on up. The cable barely gets taught...
I went WAY overboard on the cable too(5/16")but its nice to know that I could pull a much larger load if need-be.

we just bought an electric winch for 60 bucks at pep boys.
slow *** dog **** but u can smoke a cig and drink a beer while loading the car up
FOR 60 buck it came with 2 mounting brackets one for the front of the truck and one for the trailor. remote, and some wires and ****. super easy to install. we had to use it to tow my sisters car when she smashed into a poll. and the to pick up my dad charger from the body shop. both times the thing sounded like it was going to die but it kept on truck'n. for 60 bucks u cant go wrong.
