Jimfab traction bars are great.
Why else would we stock them and have available for our customers?

how does the JimFab clear when making a U-Turn or turning the wheels all the way, let say on a 96-00 civic?

kinda off topic but jimfab related...........

what will happen if i get the jimfab motor mounts with extra stiff bushing?on his website he said not recomended for street use...

will there just be more vibration in the interior?

or should just stick to the regular jimfab mounts?

you will get a bit more vibration with MOST aftermarket mounts and inserts. if street use.i'd just use the reg jimfabs.

I currently run Z10 Bars. I looked into Jim Fabs and heard alot of great things
of both. If i was running my stock D16 motor Either will work well. But for B-Series
the Jim Fab I hear doenst offer the same clearance for ITR 4 Into One style Headers and or Big Downpipes.
So thats the only reason I got the Z10 and also
I Figured a Dual Tube setup would be stronger than a single tube But Ive never
heard of either ever breaking. Youll be happy with either or Im sure but just make
sure if you ever plan to move to a B-Series and a ITR 4into1 that it will clear.

Will the Jimfabs clear a 4 into 1 header i saw this picture online and
it even loooks like a super tight fit with the Z10 Bar which has more
clearance then the JimFab one.

Id hate to see someone install the Jim Fab just to find out they cant
fit there Header or Downpipe.

You guys keep saying Jim Fab all the way but give no reasoning? I dont think the Jim Fab will clear 4 into 1 headers and or Big Downpipes and thats why i didnt buy one.

my friend has the mounts on his every day driver, and it actually vibrated so much that the oil pan lost a couple of bolts, its crazy but damn they work greeeeeat!

The reason is stated above. Both work but with Jim Fab you can turn your wheel all the way with no problem (So you can U Turn). The geometry is also better with the Jim Fab as the Z10 will cause binding (I am getting this from FFGeoff)

From FFGeoff:

The pivot of the radius rod should be located on the axis of the LCA rotation. This is not the case with the Z10 bar. There have been a few reported cases of bushing damage because of this.

To clarify this is for 92+ Civics and 94+ Integras. As for the EF, both are good designs, although the Jimfab weighs less.

I should point out that I am in no way affiliated with FFGeoff, full-race, or JimFab. I am also a former owner of Z10 radius rods. I sold them to meet race class rules but around the same I learned of this.

ON a side note, I have no idea on the header since I would never mess with NA.
