Track allow hand controls??
Hey guys! Just picked up my brothers automatic EG and wanted to know if tracks allow hand controls? I think ive seen someone have them before but just wanted to make sure before we all go to the track...Thanks!!!
Oh yeah sorry I forgot to add that...Yeah for the gas and brake, My brothers a paraplegic...due to a motorcycle accident 2 years ago.
I thought I read somewhere in the rules that they were not allowed. The best thing to do would be call and ask. I don't see a problem with them in bracket racing but I could be wrong.
Thanks Chad! I'll email them and find out for sure...Hows your car doing?? Do you still have that EK hatch with type R wheels?? I could have swarn I seen it sitting in allentown??

Yeah I have been painting over at my dads place all weekend that was my car.
This is all I could find. I thought last year there was a line in the SFWD rules that said you needed to use the pedals. Does this mean Jamie might be making some appearances this year?
2:3 CLUTCHAll cars utilizing a clutch must operate clutch with a foot pedal.Allpedals must be covered with non-skid material.NHRA-acceptedhand controls for the physically challenged permitted.Clutch incars running 11.99 or quicker must be labeled as meeting SFISpec 1.1, 1.2, or 1.4.
