torque mounts
is it necessary to use the lower torque mount when running solid motor mounts? my current build is shooting for 750-800 whp , I will be running solid mounts, I also have solid torque mounts but if I need then I will not install them.
let me know some experiences, opinion, facts.

i removed them and the first thing that happened was the tacked on nut on the rear T bracket broke off so the motor had a bit of a "rock" to it and it was screwing up the gforce shifter. from the factory, that nut has three small tack welds. i would weld the whole way around the nut if you dont want to run the torque mounts.
I guess I will use my torque mounts then, no need to remove them if it will cause problem. I guess thats why they are called torque mounts. thanks.
i recomend keeping them, realisticly if they were removed you have 2 mounts on pretty much the centerline of the engine, and it will move on that axis. the torque mounts prevent this from happening.
