Hot Rod and Pro FWD are definitely going to be some good racing!

Lummas haulin ***, but we knew that would happen. Looks like going to be a good race in all motor. Modified was just weird, and ProRWD will get it figured out on the next one. I wonder if Fourcade is running in ProStock today also or not? That would make for a busy day. That isn't nice Tony...

Just pointing out that there is 1 car in Pro FWD, and that of the whopping 3 in Hot Rod, 1 is a good half a second faster than the rest. That's all.

Wow. Looks l like the imports went out to impress everyone in kansas for the first time

Neck and neck racing in ProRWD:
Left Lane: Vince Fourcade Runs 6.671/208.14, Now #1
Right Lane: Abel Ibarra Runs 9.511/111.38, Now #2

Left Lane: Matt Scranton Runs 7.437/202.64, Now #2
Right Lane: Brad Personett Runs 15.794/76.94, Now #4

Left Lane: Stephan Papadakis Runs 9.647/116.32, Now #5
Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.982/208.59, Now #2

9:49 a.m. Kurt Johnson is on the starting line taking in this first round of Sport Compact action. Efantis's Lucas Oil Team has redefined the record books for Modified so far this year, Afshar's Subaru is brand new.

This was a little weird - Efantis rolled the beam and got a red light, but sat just off the starting line for eight seconds. Afshar sat in the beams after the green for 12 seconds, finally starter Rick Stewart motioned both of them to get on down track.

Wow, Kurt Johnson was even there to watch the three-ring spectacle

...All motor guys are doing good

Am I readying Dragracecentral right and that is final qualifying order? Guess the NHRA didn't want to waste time another round of qualifying for only 20 or so cars. Do not walk into the light. The end is near it looks like.

No wonder when they only let a select few go.

Good to see Humps went straight down broadway.

You know what, your sponsors don't ask WHY people are attending the events, only that that ARE attending the events...

ok, have you been to a NOPI event lately?
there is more racers there than there is at a NHRA event & they have more classes to race in. Yeah, there is a show but thats just a bonus.

motorcycle stunts? quit talking out of you *** man...there are no motorcycle stunts...they actually have thier own class (at Nopi) to race in.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIT...dam

Thing that sucks is that there is only one nopi event that is close to the west coast. And thats the first race in Arizona.

Congrats to Lummas his car is flying.

Does anyone know what did Kenny break in his qualifying pass?

After being one of the people on here who would say that NHRA was going to be the events to go to, I think I might end up changing my mind. The car counts are ridiculous, the way they make exceptions on the rules is totally irresponsible, and it is starting to look like they just are lost. I don't know if NOPI is any better, but what else is there??? I'm actually hoping Frank Choi makes a huge 4th quarter push, and blow past the both of them. That would be great to see.

its only going to get worse
unless sponsers step in
to assist the little players

There are probly a good Hundred
Hot-Rod type cars out there

But who the hell is going to spend
the money to travel across the country when you know you don't have a chance

All the little guys in each class can use some assistance. I'll do as much as i can until someone steps in and assists me.

the First 2 rounds were scheduled for yesterday and were cancelled because of the rain... today was just 1 opportunity to qualify... i'm sure some guys took it easy because of that...

OH NO HE DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT.. And to be honest, probably anyone in that position would race. Don't get on them, cuz they got to be there, take it to the sanctioning body. They are the ones who did wrong here. there isn't a single team out there that would have told the NHRA no, they won't show because that is the rules. Everybody would have gone.
