hello,i am in the process of finishing my new ride when i ran into a problem.
i have a b18c1 engine,ls trans with the 4:40 final drive and the tci part number 969100 spool that is listed for a 99-00 si and 94-99 ls/gs trans.
the axles are stage 5 drive shaft shop pieces.
ok here is my problem,when i went to put the axles in,they wont go in all of the way.even the stock gsr and ls intermediate shafts.the go in till the splines bottom out and the seal area wont hit the seal.at first i thought it was axles,but after i thought about it the ls axles and intermediate shaft wont work either.they slide right into the stock diff but wont go in all of the way .
now tci does have another part number for gsr trans only.i dont know if that would make since though,because of the stock axles fitting the same way.
can anyone help me?anyone else run this diff in their ls gear box?
