We've been fighting trans problems for a long time now, usually the pinion gear breaking. Broke one in the finals at the West Coast Outlaw race. I'll be running the G Force at WCF.

With a stock bell housing?

think you have to send tem your trans, and they do the work and send it back. i also think if you brake something you have to send it back for repair they wont send you the parts

My gforce has a stock bell housing, but I'll be on 24.5's I may be ok. You send your trans in but they have machined and braced cores ready to go

I talked to allen and rolando at fall nationals they said you send them your case stock or billet and your diff and then they assemble it. They said once they have it shimmed correctly you can break all they gears you want and they can have replacement parts to you in two days... the only reason to send your trans back ywould be if you changed your diff or broke your case. I will definitely be using this trans. Also the guys at dp are super nice and helpfull they must have stood there shooting the **** with us for 20mins.

It was great talking to you! you are 100% about the G Force tranns.

Other than Gforce, we are the only ones authorized to assemble these Honda transmissions. The K series will be out soon enough as well.

The turn around time on any parts is only a couple days. We have most of the parts for the transmission in stock. If we don't, we can have it shipped from Gforce directly.

There's no need for the billet case for the 24.5" tire. We do the necessary bracing needed.

Back to topic...

Tony... we can't wait to see what she really got! Looking forward to seeing your car competing at WCF! Good luck! The 3rd gear is already on it's way.

So judging by what theyre implying, the preload on the diff is important (moreso than one might think) to the longevity of the actual stacks' survival?

Looking at their site claims 600ish HP... Is this a different set Tony?

Gforce had a revision last year around this time. Made the gears more beefier. thats what Rolando told me. But all the gear sets that where out they pretty much recalled them and Gforce installed the version 2

Good to know, seems like Gforce is actually taking care of the customer, and also looking at what they can do to make things better and improve on.
