Spoon cam sprockets
I am interested in buying spoon cam sprockets for my itr. ihave a spoon computer and stock camshafts.Should i gain power with these cam gears? Thanks alot
not by just putting them on you won't gain power.
you need to adjust them, the best way to do this is on the dyno to see whether or not your adjustments are making any power

I guess your asking whether or not you COULD gain power with them.....I think with your mods there could be quite a few ponies waiting to be released with a few adjustments.
Perhaps a 00 ITR intake cam instead of the 97 spec would be a good idea too.
Try -1 degree on the intake side and maybe +2 or +3 degrees on the exhaust side...kinda moves the power band a little higher but 6-9K is where the power is most of the time anyway.
Also to save money purchase the Toda Gen II Cam Gears (aka Spoon) I am sure you can find them cheaper and they are the exact SAME gears.
Toda =
Dyno time will be well worth it, VAFC would help with tuning alot at your stage of mods.
