Default slick size?

i have a built ls on nitrous and it was dynoed at 283 to the wheels. im running 22x8x13 slicks right now, and my fastest 1/4 mile is 11.91 @ 113, spinning throught 1st and 2nd. im changing a few things and will be looking for over 300 to the wheels. will 23" slicks be ok for my setup, because i was said the 22" slicks are too small now.

ok thanks. i was trying to get a few opinions, because people were telling me the 22" slicks were fine. im running the b16 tranny and running out of 4th on the top end, thats why i wanted to go to 23" slicks.

8/23-13, that would be the ones you need.

23s will work for that setup the best. There's alot of factors that determine what size you want to use. Not just the HP. Gearing, RPM shift point, etc. In this case, how much nitrous and when is it used. If you're on the bottle straight out of first gear, for sure the 22s will just be overpowered. You're going to need the 23s. The 24.5s may work as well, but then it has to have the gearing, and rpm to make it work.
