I have a B20 vtec ( N/A) i my 89 hatch

the car dynoed at 251whp and I changed some stuff this year hoping to be about 270whp. the car weighed 2200lbs with me in it will be closer to 2050 this year.

last year my best time where 12.9@ 107 my 60 foot where about 2.00 on bfg drag radials 225-50-15.
I rev to about 9500rpm

my tranny is a 92 GSR with a 4.7 final drive.

I just picked up some lenso 13"X7.5 wheels and I was debating what size of slick to run.

judging by gear calculator 23 seam to be right, but maybe 24s?

my goal is 11.99 but deep down I really want 11.49

You went 106 with 251whp? That's awful low. I went 109 with 187whp at 2200lbs. Something's not right.

 

I know there was a lot of things that weren't right last year the worst of which was a tranny that ground HARD in 2nd 3ard and forth.

had to granny shift

has a fresh rebuild now.
