Default Shifting problems H22 HELP!

Ive got a 95 civic with an h22 and a M2A4 tranny. Car only gets driven on the track except for the occasional test pass down a dead end street. Car is still running cable shifters and I have never been able to get into 3rd gear at redline. Only way I can get it into gear smoothly and reliably is if I shift out of 2nd at about 4k. motor is completely stock internal and has a header and a tune. Had the tranny pulled apart and they replaced the 3rd gear syncro's, springs, and slider. the gear was perfectly fine. car still wont shift. tried running all kind of different oils in it like torco, mobile 1, royal purple, even pensoil syncromesh. no help. any advice or if anybody has had this issue as well any help would be greatly apreciated.

the rest of the gears all shift fine. I can flat foot shift into all of the other gears at 8k and have never missed any other gears. we also replaced the shift fork. already have the zip tie trick done.

had done the zip tie trick a couple of months ago and it didnt seem to help. they were pretty far spaced out though. just got done zip tie-ing them back together about every 2-3 inches and attached them to anything solid. going to get it on the dyno this weekend and do some simulated pulls and see if it shifts. it could just need a driver mod *lol*

had similar problems before but I never got around to doing the zip tie trick...

My problem was the tranny wouldnt go into gear at 8k also

I swapped trannies out and it was fine....only for a few months before it started again......like I said I never tried the zip tie trick
