Default shifting advice???

Alright I am running a del sol with b16 engine, have the everyday i/h/e, catylatic converter, fuel preassure regulator. One question I have is my redline is 8k, so should I go through shifting at 8k or shift a little lower? I was running 25 psi and best time was a 16.033 when I should be in mid 15's by now with that engine and what I have done....help would be nice, thanks

shift at 8k, but you need to lower the tire preasure, i would reccomend gettin some drag radials, but your car is really heavy if iam right its heavier then a stock si, and i dont see many of those deep in the 15s, just for some thought...

Dont let your foot of the gas and make sure it goes into gear.!!!!go get some drag raidals too.!! if you cant afford them go run a NHRA event and BF Goodrich will give you loaners.!!!

I have a B16 in my crx and I shift at 7800 if that helps but lower your tire pressure, I ran my street tires at 18-20psi

I've never 1/4 mile but I shift at 9100 and don't let off the gas....definately get some drag radials or slicks...they will improve your times everywhere...good luck...
