SDS EFI SYSTEM
Has anyone made 600+ hp with the SDS fuel management system. What boost level, what size fuel inj. I am looking for a general idea from anyone who has experience with the SDS.
I know this doesn't answer your question, but Saber performance made 450 hp on their Turbo RX-7 up here in Canada, using the stock ECU, with just the SDS additional injector controller.

my friend just dynoed 500 on his 16valve turbo GTI, and im hoping for over 400 on my 73 beetle. We are both useing SDS. I personally think its a great setup and rather inexspencive compared to other setups.
i would contact aebs about that.
paulus, their tuner and engine builder, used to swear by that system.
don't know about lately because i haven't talked to him in some time.

I have SDS and was thinking about switching to hondata. Would this be a pain in the *** to do because of all of the rewiring. I just dont really know where to start. I dont know much about hondata.

i know several people who really like the sds system... great bang for the buck, especially if you don't want to use a pc to program it.
one thing it won't allow you to do is to control the a/f ratios with the oxygen sensor 100% of the time, like some of the most sophisticated efi controllers currently do.
so you'll have to log some dyno tuning time... but the rewards are there for the bang for the buck systems, heck, somebody went 300+ mph on the salt with a motorcycle that used a megasquirt efi controller.
