race necessitys
dont think i have ever seen a thread on here about what do you bring to the track when you go to a race? wcf will be my first race outside of just local track stuff. just seeing what you guys bring along and what you have wished you would have brought in times you needed something you didnt have.
I am king of forgetting ****, so I made a checklist that goes on the trailer door and we don't leave until it is all checked off. Last week I forgot an air chuck. Had compressor, hose, portable air tank...forgot the chuck LOL!

yeah, we have lists for all of our racing activities -- trailer loading, car maintenance, etc, etc -- keeps us from forgetting stuff
just start writing things down over the next couple of days as you think of them, then you can edit the list as needed for the absolute necessities versus luxuries
or you can be like a lot of Honda-tech and the only thing you need to race is your keyboard

besides tools, maybe electrical stuff
i went crazy looking for a damn spare fuse once lol
different connectors, crimps, terminals... cant hurt to have that in case i guess

I usually print out this list before we load up.. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but this helps..

i hate e85. that **** stinks up the hole damn track every time a car goes down it. and i hope it aint as cold as last year cause i froze my *** off in the stands! i ended up buying a pit parking pass so i could go to my car in between rounds and warm up!
im taking 10 gallons of fuel. do you guys think that will be fine? i figure 1.4 gallons per run and i will be lucky to qualify so should only use 5 gallons max!

Since I usually drive my car to the track I have a box with wire, connectors, electrical tape, duct tape, zipties, oil, rags, gloves, extra nuts and bolts, washers, solder and soldering iron, relays, fuses. And then I bring my tools, a jack and jack stands, laptop, slicks and spacers, etc. I always try to be prepared for everything because the one thing you're not prepared for is what usually goes wrong..lol
