daily driven ls/vtecs only
whats the quickest u seen?

full interior

buddy of mine is gonna build one, hes a turbo lover but our friend is building a 10 sec daily hatch ( turbo h22 )
im building a 9 sec drag car hatch ( turbo gsr )

so he wants to go ls/vtec now

i knw, he dont liek them either, but he is a shop owner, its all about market
hes already gonna have 2 10 sec or under turbo cars
and 2 12 sec turbo cars
so hes looking for n/a now

 

oh, all motor. well the easy choice there is an h22 prelude!!

 

he already had most the stuff sitting in the shop so hes jsut gonan use what hes got

from the shop a 11 sec sohc turbo daily
12 sec gsr teg turbo
soon to be 10 sec h22 turbo hatch daily
soon to be 10-9 sec turbo gsr hatch drag only
his he wants to do ls all motor
pretty much covers all motors but b16 and typer

 

i have seen a mid 12 car

Jerry from Jerry Built ran a 11.8 with interior. He backed it up with another 11.8 run which he actually sand bagged because he was trying to stay within his bracket time (which was 12 flat because anything below that will need a full cage).

BTW: This is DAILY DRIVEN to and from work which is about 50 miles each way. Not to mention the frequent trips to local shops for parts.

 

i hope you were joking about that h22 prelude for all motor

what was he all using to do that 11.8?

I have to tell you that everything is not what it seems like...Im hoping for 10's too, but I'll be lucky if I hit something in teh 11's

 

Friend of mine has a 92 Si w/ LS/Vtec his best is 12.8 Open Header

 

LS/VTEC with TWM ITB's. Jerry is the wrench monkey at Import Builders.

 

I love that car. I have seen it in person but not in action. I hope that car never becomes a full race car and stays as a street car.

I dont see a reason why people downgrade it. It works well and is proven to go into the 9's turbo thats for sure.

 

12.5@108 stock type r cams, no gut no cut, daily driven.. 2400lbs give or take a few


11.8@112 daily driven
