question for those with experience at the strip
a friend of mine went and did some runs for the first time in his integra.
his best run was a 15.3 at 92 or 93mph (the slip was really difficult to read), 60' time was 2.5.
we're both wondering what sort of improvement he'd get if he could knock off ~3/10ths of a second from his 60' time.
unfortunately, the drag strip is only open twice a month, so it'll be another month before we can try it out for ourselves.
his car is an integra vti-r (gsr to you folks)- home made cai, 2.5" cat back exhaust and 16" rims with horrible tyres.
tia.

this is correct for all my times until i got into the 12s. but from 13s and higher the rule still applies.

I found that for every tenth i took of my 60 ft on my civic i got 3 tenths of my quarter. I dropped 3.5 tenths of my sixty foot with slicks, and lost a full second off my times. unbelievable.
