I have a h22a vtec head which it has been ported and polished for full drag with force induction. I didn't know it at the time because I bought it from a friend. I've milled to head .030 now. It seems like I'm not producing much hp. Is it because of the head was made for FI and not NA. Can I report & polish the head for NA?

 

IF your head is ported then its probably fine.. Im sure some heads are better then others but very rarely does a ported head actually lose power.. unless it was done by someone who shouldnt have been doing it in the first place.. You should check your turbo system for boost leaks, make sure your air/fuel is right, ( might be running too rich) Or maybe your turbo itself is going out.. It could be a a number of things, thats thats the problem with turboing hondas sometimes.. just becuase you throw a bunch of expensive parts at it.. doesnt guaruntee desirable outcomes..
