is anyone making there cars 1st showing at this event???????


this will be my 1st NHRA event ever going to,
san antonio sux, only idrc and nopi would come here

now they quit all together

 

Our Sport FWD will be ready.!! Just got it dynoed last night at 2am at Bubba's shop. 327hp at 7 psi ?? boost controller and NOS not hooked up yet?? does that make sense.? I wasnt there. I dont even know where the car is.

 

this will be my first time running period. worried about the car passing tech.

 

i'm gettin antsy...man i can't wait...

 

This will be my first time running my car at Pomona in the Sport FWD class... hopefully it will be our first full pass with no problems...

my car has been out at the tracks before but this is her first Nhra appearance..i have ran at pomona before, only for street legals..aahhhh the good ol days..

this will be my eg's first aperance at pomona, the motor is going to go in in a bout 15 min. ill break it in and try and take it out to irwindale to get a feel for it. My Ek did ok last year in ET1, but my dumb *** red lit in the finals. The weather should be beuatiful and it should be a great event. as usual me and the guys are probably gona BBQ some asada in the pits i dont know about the though lol.

Your car looks sick even with the bumper that looks like its going to bite someone.

i personaly dont like that bumper, i used to use it when my car was a daily driven show car and i didnt want to screw up my good body kit.. Now i wish i didnt get rid of the stock bumper.. hahaha.. once i get a few bills paid i'm guna have a stock bumper back on the car...
I'll tell u tho, that bumper is durable, about 4 years ago, i hit a coyotie at 80mph with it and when i washed all the blood off, it was undamaged...

Ahaha thats awesome. Isn't that the one that they used to sell the fangs for? If only you had those when you hit the coyote.

I just wish there was someplace they came to closer to me than Englishtown. Closest import racing is the Canadian series.

 

The bumper i have was the first gen. that wings west made.. the second gen. came with fangs.. I cant beleve how much they charged for those bumpers too, luckly i got mine in a trade. I beleve it was an old set of lowering coils for it or something like that...

I noe how u feel bout being far from the action, i live 3 1/2 hours away from the neerest track...

Yep this is going to be the first time i bring out my car to the track, thanks to Thomas at camp 1320 for having the parts i needed for my car at the last minute.The car is ready to go now and just waiting for it to be dynoed again tomorrow.

Theres a track close to me, but the closest to any sort of import racing is a Wednesday night bracket event that some show up to. Luckily though a bunch of my dads friends race some pretty serious IHRA cars or are involved with teams there, so I make it to those races. I wish I had the time/money to build a car to race competetively, but right now with school it looks like its going to be brackets and some Canadian events on radials.

Had a white 91 Civic Si with bronze C10s but sold it Sunday. Now I've got a 2004 VW GTI.

 

I think ive seen it once or twice.. pretty clean car if i remember correctly..
