Default Noob needs help

Hey guys, total frickin noob here so be nice lol. I bought a 95 civic eg that's completely gutted. It came with an ls engine but no other components. I was wondering if I should rebuild the ls or put a type r swap in it. I'll be getting around 3k from my tax return and I'm planning on putting it all into the car. I'm just tryin to get opinions right now. Any other tips would be appreciated.

i recommend you figure out what you want to do with the car first. Drag race or a nice daily driver. its either one or the other.

This, if its gonna be a daily driver you might not need all 3k on engine mods and can maybe restore the interior a bit.. if you guy with drag racing, put 2500 on the less and keep 500 for a nice set of drag wheels and slicks
