What's with the qualifying times? They seem out of line to anyone else?

its pretty common recently for people to sandbag the first run or two. Lots of changes made during the week and de-bugging going on if I had to guess.

you mean 163 mph

I also want to make a point right now about Mopar and the Phatridz team...Crawford is on top of Hot Rod by a little more than 3 tenths....Mohler is doing a heck of a job battling with the All Motor rotaries with a second qualifing position....Now I wonder if Carlson can drop the hammer in Pro FWD when he makes a debut??

wow that is awesome... Crawford is gonna be tough to beat because he can cut a treedown too when everything is right.

Marty Ladwig is running very consistent lately, this race is gonna be damn good tomorrow.

Looks like Steph is running good, I'm rooting for him and Abel

I guess NHRA should be happy to see factory built cars in the #1 and #2 qualifying positions in Hot Rod.

I was at the event I got alot of it on video. The only problem for carlo in the yellow integra was traction problems. It seemed like he bogged in the start cuz thru 1st it seemed slow. Then it just took off in 2nd gear, he was spinning the slicks down 1/2 the track. His car was moving nice, acceleration seemed fast as hell. The cars back end seemed all over the road while the cars trying to find traction. He ended up swarving into the middle of the track and knocking some of the timing stuff out. Also another crazy thing laster in the day happened to Jojo Callos. Right after he launched his integra, at about the 60' mark the driver door fell off. They had to run down the track and pick it up. Must have ben alittle scary for him in the car like what the f*ck just happened. Overall it was alot of fun.

haha...jojo's always loosing stuff off that car. I bet you he didnt even know. I did a burnout once with my door wide open and didnt know. I also blew my hatch 30 ft in the air when I had a thin fiberglass hatch and had no idea it happened either.
