I'm looking for someone to make 3PC front ends for Nissan Sentra B13's & or B14's. I originally gave the option to Exospeed but I’ve been waiting for a while but nothing still. We've gathered interest on the sr20- forums for 8+ Kits. A sketch/design will be required before we can give the go head. Please let me know your suggestions.

 

Gathered interest or down payments ? Have you talked to strada ? Might be tough though to get a company to commit just from interest.

 

Payment is a go if we can find something that we like. I sent Strada a email on Facebook a few mins ago.

 

im willing to bet, that Exospeed would definitely build you a product if you "showed him the money"

 

exactly, this has always been the issue with the "not so marketable" front ends. this doesnt only include one company, more like 2 or 3 that i know of.

 

Dave, I have renderings for your B13 already. I just havent been able to commit 100% on the actual production. We're just getting things in order so we arent going to be delayed or stpped in middle of production. But if you guys have someone else to make it, its all good and you're open to decide to do that of course.

 

If its a money thing I can provide what your original estimated cost for each kit with at least an 8 kit production at any time. No money has been discussed as far as up front costs and so on. I know the B13/b14 chassis is not going to sell near the quanitity of kits that sell for hondas and we realize this and is why those interested are willing to pay a little extra to have them made.

I really hope this goes through as Im really looking forward to the nice wide front to clear the slicks properly and really clean up the front and make it look really nice.

 

Exospeed has been great to deal with so far for us. One thing to take into consideration as a consumer is that this time of year I am sure every manufacturer is swamped. Everyone and their uncle wants the fronts right now so they can have them on their car for the season and these aren't huge companies that make giant production runs so bear with them! Exospeed has always been quick to respond - just shoot them an email if need be!

Its not a money thing. Its a scheduling thing. Maybe other places arent as busy as us but we have so much on our plate. I honestly dont want to take in something that we arent able to complete in a timely manner. I've made that mistake in the past and I'm just being honest and dont want to be in that situation again with any of you. I dont mean to disappoint the B13/B14 guys but I'd rather be in this position than having you guys wait and have made a deposit.

Wish something like that would have been said in the beginning and we could have "shopped around" a bit to see who was willing to do the kit and in a timely manner. So far its been I believe 5 or 6 months and not even a sketch yet. I understand your guys are probably very busy and thats a good thing. If your unable or unwilling to take the project just say so and it makes life easier on everyone. And again no hard feelings if you dont want to do it because its understandable that the market for them isnt there so in the jist of things it might be considered a waste of time for Exospeed to do it, at least in a timely manner thing.

 

I said in the beginning, the soonest we can probably do it is after SEMA, like Dec. I will show you guys the sketches later this week. I'll have my designer finalize it so I can show you guys.

 

ill say this for wil he doesnt make much money on front ends he does it to support our sport and make us look good and i understand you guys want a sketch but same with the DA guys and its hard to make something muchless sell it as well be patient and good things will come

 

At the end of the day it take time and money to complete one of these projects.showing interest and actually commiting are tow different things . All I recommend is get the serious people together and we can make anything happen.we have made custom carbon wheels full carbon interior for some of the biggest Company's displayed this previous year SEMA.we treat and take every customers order with great pride and respect.

 

I understand both sides and I’m not trying to put anyone on blast. I actually liked dealing with Wil. The lack of communication is an issue. All we needed was some kind of drawing showing what it would look like. I'm sure getting the money together for 8-16 kits for the 2 chassis will take a bit but it would have gave you the time i took to make space for us when you were ready. You have my email and #... just had to let me know... From the lack of communiation is why ventured.

 

Please understand my reason for using the word “interest”. I’m sure at first if no designs was made for a 3pc front end on the Honda’s and you guys were gathering interest people would want to know what it would look like. Hence the use of the word interest. If it’s something that we like, then we go with it.

It will be nice to get two companies sketches on the piece and give us an option and see how price comparisons are as well. Everyone knows a majority of the Sentra guys are cheap bastards but there are those willing to pay money to have pieces like this done for their big builds. But best pricing and looks combined will seal the deal for sure.
