So my friends giving me his 89 hatch..im highly considering turning it into a mainly drag car but streetable.. Its white, i wanna get the dings out and paint it.. I wanna do something cool with it... any ideas?

STOCK! get the bodywork done, and repaint it whatever color you choose. carbon fiber hood maybe. clean bodylines

 

well i was gonna do something crazy/funny.. i doubt i will have/want sponsors. im debating on to either get a one piece front end and cut the headlight part out of it or to have cf fenders/hood/bumper made......i was thinking about doing it camoflouge (sp?) with a big yellow smiley face on the doors. hahaha

not trying to jump on the JDM theme bandwagon but the front end does look pretty clean for the 88-91 hbs . maybe get one of those

 

unless you are going to make the carbon fiber parts yourself then expect to drop a huge chunk of change.

 

Paint a big Shrilanka flag on it and call it a day.

 

Its spelled "sri lanka" ******.... and yes i was planning on having the fenders and the dash made by a friend of mine in carbon fiber..All im looking from the car is low 11's sohc... and maybe to take out proclassracer at the track

drop a fully built motor in it and run high 12's and low 13's
because if you think you can run low 11's you are most definately a ricer and cant drive

Ricer eh? Cool, thanx... Going by ur screen name "allmotoref9" i believe your a ricer with you "ef9" when u know damn well that its a "ed" and the fact that ur refering to ur car by a chasis code that doesnt even belong to YOUR car, i think thats rather ricey. i bet you my 14 second hatch is eternaly faster than anything you will ever own.....

you dont know what you are talking about, the 14 second pass was the last pass my car did before total tear down, its in my garage being taken apart now.... and as far as the EF9 thing, SUCK IT! oh and the defenition of rice, is wanting or making your car look fast when it isnt, i do believe you were asking differen ways to make your car look. and oh yeah run low 11's even with 300 whp and a turbo you wont hit low 11's, EVER....... dont **** with me, you wont like how you end up

 

SOOoOrry!. Maybe you should call "Sri Lanka" and have them spend their yearly budget on sponsering you. What do you think, a set of slicks and a clutch? Screw the carbon fiber and make the parts from camel hair fibers. I heard they retain their stregnth and repel heat well for desert racing. Keep it real homie. Tell Victor hes a feg for me.
