that's what I thought when Sav called me, we went to Bullish on Wed. so George Ionniou could tune the car on the dyno, there are your results and the car spun the tires at every gear change according to the data logger I would expect 8:80's from this combo-oh and this is only a B16 the big motor is coming!

Allen from Honda Heaven ran a 10.89 at 132 and an 11.0 at 134. This was at 2650lbs and 24.5" MT slicks. Josh "Hybrid 901" ran a 10.99 and 11.0 i think. I think Alex "gsrev" ran a 11.2 but let off early cause it was missing a little. Alex was on a brand new untuned motor. There's more, but that's all i know...

 

sadly this weekend was ruined by rain. It is soo damned frustrating that it only tends to rain when there is an import event scheduled. Whats bad is it doesn't just rain.. a f@$king tropical storm forms right off the coast. Last year it was Allison and now.. Seems like every event I went to this year was threatened by rain or was rained out. Sucks

The T4 Class was awsome though. Good to see plenty of fast street cars. Just wish we could have completed the event. Contrats to Allen for joining the 10 sec club! Great person especially since I came ill prepared w/ tools and I live in houston.. lol! Hopefully we will all meet up again in October for the IDRC race!

edit: Crap.. idrc pulled the race from san antonio ..

so nopi will not be doing another event since it was rained out?

 

Is NOPI going to reschedule the event? I read somewhere that it wasnt going to be rescheduled and racers/spectators wont get compensated for it?

 

T4 would have been a great class to watch, too bad for the rain. I set my personal best et and mph, and qualified #1. The old CRX went 10.85 at 135.2......SOHC power With four legit high ten second cars in the field, this would have been a great race. This was my last event for the year, it was great meeting all the fellow competitors in T4. I look forward to racing with you guys next year.

I just got home after the 11hour drive back to Memphis. It was going to be a good turbo4 class. I ran a 10.9@128 and a 10.8@127 hitting boost cut. I got that fixed and was looking forward to Sunday. Is there anymore races this year in TX? It was nice meeting the few people from HT that I did.
