I am thinking about building my hatch into a drag racing only type steet car and I was just wondering if anyone on here has any tips or if any body has raced in the ndra before? I printed off all the rules and other info I might need but was just wondering if there were any "unwritten" rules or guidelines I might need to know about?

NDRA, NHRA, BOTI = sanctioning body
T/S,S/S, C4 = classes

 

turbo 4 is back for 2007.

i assume you are building a honda.

they have a broad range a classes.

 

has anyone seen ndra preliminary schedule? It is bad for us in the southeast.

Yep, whats sorry is that Nopi is based in the southeast and cant even bring a event nearby...

 

yep, ive been ranting on their forums.

the closest race is st louis. 8-10 hrs. THAT ******* SUCKS.

FL - Moroso No good Dates available - Bradenton No pavement for pits - Blocked form Gainsville
TN - Blocked from Bristol - Memphis not strong market
AL - Steele cannot handle 6 second cars - Checking on Montgomery

I would recommend building a car around NHRA's rules and then just run what NDRA class your car fits into. You never know what is going to happen with their classes...they change every year.

 

http://www.noproblemraceway.com here in LA is plenty big enough to hold a big event. I wish Nopi or NHRA would put on an event here.
