Default My times

well I took it out to the track for its first time. My best time was 15.739. Now keep in mind this is UT so I dont know the exact equation to translate to sea level. but thats almost like pulling a 14.9ish I think. Any way.

My 60' were **** 2.7 was the best I got. and 1/8 were in the 10.8. Trap speed was 88.5. I think with every shift the wheels spun. Tires were ****. the track was cold and shitty. I even had to bog it on 2 runs. I also launched at Vtec crossover.

Not only that but come to find out I am blowing smoke. So I need to have the leakdown and compresion done. I think I am going to need rings. So I might as well replace bearings. and probably have to replace cam seals. Jesus. The guy who had the car before me treated the motor like **** . And guess whos fixing it. But I have to admit that its going to be fun when done. and not only that I got good prices for labor. But now Im ranting.

So anyway not a good day to race at night.

Well.......

Depending on money. I am hoping for maybe some CTR pistons. or inline four has a spoon set of JDM OEM balanced pistons for 360. But if its my budget I got now. well than were looking at only the bearings and rings and seals. Which isnt bad.

But eventually I want are CTR pistons. CTR cams. ITR Valves and ITR VAlve springs. and skunk2 Titanium retainers.

That is eventually. but I dont know what to do about this oil burning

Like I said no one was hooking up. I for sure wasnt. I need to bring the 60' down to 2.5 at least. And I just found out my front struts are blown. So that will improve it slightly by replacing those. It was a bad night for a lot of people. then again maybe I am making excuses for shitty tires?

I have never driven a car or a track that I got a 2.7 60ft. If your spinning the whole track why not let off? Before you start adding or changing parts you need to get to the track and practice. Get the best possible time with your current setup and then decide what is next because now it's not the car but driver that would make the biggest drop in your times.

I agree. There was nothing to let of though. I bogged it and still got a week reaction time. The track was way cold it just got done raining during the day. And It was a very cold night. next time I will see when it warms up in 2 weeks. I should run better.

As far as upgrades I dont know If I will be doing all teh sam change and piston change more likely just getting it fixed and not eating oil. thats my number one goal.
