I've finally finished putting my setup together and im having a issue with my liberty trans. When i put it in reverse the car grabs reverse and moves about 5 feet then makes a noise of like drill spinning and wont go into reverse. Any ideas on what it could be? I'm using Valvoline VR1 50w for fluid. thanks in advance

Do you have the spacer under the reverse gear? It may be passing right past the reverse gear, that happened on InDub's Liberty box..

 

check the spacer and take out the reverse syncro, there is a how to somewhere on HT if you search for it.

 

Full Liberty trans/ gears, not sure about the spacer might be that, this thing is a bitch to push especially with a spool in it!
