hi guys.

i want to make a lexen fron windscreen for my 89 wagon. since its impossible to get a replacement one,

do i need to bend it? let a shop bend it or just level it with the sheetmetal and rivets and it wil "form itself"?

why is it impossible? you can run lexan or any poly carbonate windshield its probaly not a good idea as a daily driver due to it scratching an not as strong as glass but we have used it with no problems before

 

it will never be perfect unless you have a windshield to send them and have the lexan formed, otherwise it will just be mostly flat, i wouldn't sejest lexan for a street car
any good windshield shop should be able to get you a "oem" replacement my buddy had his replaced not to long ago by safelight

 

i have a the only wagon in my country.

so no shop has these windows.

 

damm what country is this? an why not pay sum1 on here to buy it for you an ship it to you easy as that

move to the US then...... my buddy got one shipped in and installed new for 160

i just checked with about a dozen dealers and all of them say that this windscreen was discontinued.

 

at first it will be ok, over time they scratch from cleaning. i changed mine out every season in my probe.

 

We get them brand new installed for $140 sucks to be on the otherside of the world anyways if i were you i would run lexan an call it the day.
