Default Lexan Hardware

Okay, so I already read all of the lexan install threads and have a pretty good idea of what I am doing. However, I do not want to rivit. I want to use SS bolts and nylone nuts. What size (diameter) bolts do you guys use? I cant find anything stainless at home depot/lowes that has more than 4 per pack. I am just going to order some in bulk online. Where did you all get yours?

Thanks,

I get all lexan supplies from SRI and Stock Car Steel in Mooresville, NC

These use an allen to fasten and are taperd and flat on top so they are flush with the windshield. You just have to youse the bit that tapers the holes in the windshield.

Most of the stock cars out here use that and you can install them pretty quick. You can order them in various lengths in case you have to move the window flush with the body as you can see in those pics.

what you want is a 8-32 stainless flat cap sock screw which will have a standard 82 degree taper and 8-32 nylon nuts you can get most of this stuff at ACE hardware. You will need to get a 82 degree countersinker from Jerry Bickel as well.. good luck
