launching? need help.
I have been learning stick on my dad's boxster, which isnt the easiest thing to do b/c of its difficult clutch. Well i have it down pretty well now and i wanted to learn how t do some things with a manual. How do you do good launches and burnouts? FOr a launch would i rev it to 4300 rpms and just drop the clutch or would that cause it to stall? or would i feather the clutch? However feathering the clutch would wear the clutch wouldnt it? I appreciate positive replies.

What is your piont? You are asking how to launch a car with which very few to no one on this board has driven. Every car is different, what works for one car will not work for another. Go to a damn porsche forum and ask how to launch a 'boxster', you just might get a response that is positive and worthwhile. In case you don't know or have not been able to tell this forum is about hondas, I know, it is difficult to tell with the name 'honda-tech'. .
