Kmod performance failed me today
I took 2 cars down to kmod today only unloaded one cause i just didnt feel good bout there tuning, boy was I right made 1st couple of pulls and he said it won't go pass 4500 rpms wasted an hour messing round finally I tell him go off another tune that was already on car made another pull made 400+ blew overflow hose off then he said it's got a blown head gasket then says tps not workin then said got 2 springs in wastegate..never tried to diagnose the problem if there was one but they just keep running it on dyno..then there sitting in the car looking at each other tlking on the phone.I just told them take it off the dyno.(I asked who's doin the tuning he say shes tuning it I'm just tellin her what to do) not to mention they where disagreeing on what to do etc.Then the dyno owner was a a** cause alittle antifreeze wasted on dyno so he starts thewing stuff around in hooking fans & there still making pulls after we fixed it.. The dyno owner watchs the clock the whole time charged us full price & didnt do much of anything...just an bad experience never goin back..

Yeah she told him let's throw the fuel to it & see what happens after they made 400 on 1st pull then they couldn't get the car to hit vtech or open up after that..car would break up blowing black smoke everywhere & he would stay in the trottle car buck jumping on the dyno..Then they ask was we gonna tune the other car..lol

Well said. We've tuned dozens of cars w/o issue & Im sorry that your car is not what you expected it to be, but its not the tune that is your issue.
We own, built & tuned the Worlds Fastest all-Motor Street RSX & The Worlds Fastest True Street RSX. I dont believe that we would have been able to accomplish these goals w/o the ability to be ability to tune a car properly.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Its not a tuners responsibility to fix a car if its not up to par to be tuned. Have seen way to many cars show up "ready to tune" and then its gotta wire up a map sensor, injectors, reisitor box ect. Or then you start making pulls and its breaking up due to the pep boys distributor. But thats just my .02 cents

started messing with it, the car instantly dropped 250 hp and they never got it cleaned up. so my friend told him **** it to just take it of dyno cause they kept trying to run it spitting and sputtering and still full throttling it and running it threw the rmps. Then we where told "they cant help that the car wouldnt perform" tried to charge full price. I didnt even bother unloading mine. The car that was on dyno should of went back to old tunner, the reason it had to get retuned because it had a crack in runer 1&2 in the intake manifold gasket when it got tuned the first time and when it was fixed it threw the tune off. but we where on a time crunch and he was booked up so we went to them instead.

The car was a hack mess. Literally a hack mess. taped wires, rusted, advance auto parts flex exhaust wastegate dump /hood exit exhaust. a giant hole in the roof where the sunroof used to be. they wanted to tune it on c16 and they got some 6 month old opened can of c16 that didn't resemble or smell like c16. Then proceeded to mix it with the gas that was in the tank and then mix it with some legit unopened c16. On top of them being 2 hours late. Crush bent intercooler piping, 02 sensor just stuck in a hole in the down pipe (no bung) etc.etc.etc, post the pics please and let everyone make a judgement for themselves. oh and not to mention the boost controller was wired into nothing. and they wanted me to fix all of this during a 2 hour tuning session that the showed up 2 hours late for. Seriously?? need i continue????

What did you say when you made that one good pull when it made 400 ah I can make some power with this set up.. Car ran good on old tune then you put ur tuning on it & car want do anything..So what was the final problem the car wouldn't run on your tune?
We had to tell him to use the old tune that was still saved..car ran 100% better then he could have ever got it to run..It seem to me like he was lost..He said the reason it wouldnt run was the ignition was weak..but when put back on old tune ran fine..If ignition was weak why would a person just keep running it on the dyno like that's gonna fix it..I ask him why did u keep running it he said he was trying to fix it..

for the record when the car came in the first few pulls it wouldn't rev past 4200 rpm, and was popping a tps code. on the original tune!! and then we had a vacuum leak and then we had throttle linkage issues. And once all of those issues were worked out and we made a baseline pull on YOUR ORIGINAL TUNE!! The hose on the overflow bottle exploded off and spit coolant everywhere ( but i guess that is normal when u tune a car right ??). I said to you "looks like you have headgasket issues" which u refused to listen too and you said " there is no way i have a headgasket issue" i said " well.. if you want me to continue to try and tune it.. i can??" and you said "yeah bc the headgasket is fine" . from there we did another pull and discovered that the boost controller was not responding to the changes that i was making. pull after pull and boost change after boost change, nothing seemed to work. the boost was all over the place and i added fuel to protect the engine from leaning out and causing more issues. I was told that the car was in perfect running condition and all i was doing was tuning it. At this point you checked the solenoid and found out that it wasn't wired at all. From there we decided to tune it off the wastegate and the car wouldnt make a clean pull.. breaking up. We changed the plugs in an attempt to fix the breaking up issue. at this point we had made a total of 8 pulls in a 2 hour period. And the car just continually lost power even when no changes to the tune were made. So again explain to me how my tune was the issue??

Oh WOW sounds like the motor is junk bro.... Its not a tuners responsibility to fix a car on less he built it if your taking your car to a tuner it should already be fixed and ready to tune. sounds like a (backyard built/Ebay) <<< they never work out so well. and another thing he has the worlds fastes real street rsx Turbo and NA so im sure he knows what hes doing haha sounds like you did a bad job on the built and if you dont mine. can you post some pics of this motor you have we all want to see???
