Default Hydro or cable tranny??

In the process of deciding on a clutch. Tilton preferred. Should i go ahead and get a hydro tranny or leave the cable tranny in? I currently have a b16 cable w/ a quaife lsd. I would prefer a gsr hydro w/ a quaife. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Definatelly go with the hydro. I currently have the cable trans and Tilton clutch and I am hating life. The cable trans do not do good when you put power to them, especially when paired to the Tilton. Mine lasted about 10 passes on the dyno and 3 passes at the track. Now it will not downshift what so ever and the upshifts are getting harder and harder. I know of another guy who broke 2-3 times on the dyno alone. Ever since he went hydro he has had NO problems.

How about keeping the cable housing and swapping the guts of a hydro into it?
