Hey All,

hit the track last night and was mostly unhappy with my results. last time I went I did a 15.6 at 88.9mph. This time I went with a few mods done. Skunk2 manifold, ITR cams and gears (untuned) and was only able to get a 15.7 @92mph. The difference this time, was at the top end of first gear (around 6000) my wheels began to spin. Was it a poor track, or are my tires to blame?

also, I do not have an aftermarket exhaust yet, will this help in improving my times?


any help greatly appreciated? any articles on explaining 1/4 mile times?

with a 92 mph 1/4 mile, do you think I shoul d be in the 14's or low 15's?

Low 15's on street tires with that MPH. Find some drag radials and work on your launch.
