help me get into 10s ?

b18c1 ,81.5 just pistons and rods gt35r at 18psi making 466 hp,stock redline stock gsr tranny. skunk2 drag coil sleeves

i just went to the track on wed , and the track prep wasnt that good. best run of the night was 11.5 at 124mph and that was topping the 4th off the rev limited i CANNOT improve my mph .
my 60 foots were 1.8s all night . the slicks are mt 24,5.8/13s about 5 years old (they do not smoke well at all ) for the life of the car i cant get a burnout going
i dont know what to do, theres enough people on here that should be able to hellp

More seat time! I know thats not what you want to hear but its worked for me, I have gone from 11.8 down to 11.2 without changing my 60ft times, just by learning to drive the car a little more. I wouldve gone 10s last time out had they not kicked me out for no 5 point lol. 11.5's is still very respectable
You're not doing bad at all... Do you have a picture or video? A few things to consider...
1) What psi are the slicks on?
2) Are you experiencing any wheel hop?
3) Have you tried a 2nd gear burnout? That usually lights it up.
4) Raise the rev limit in 4th or all gears... Depending on your ecu and/or power band
5) Also you could use C16 and raise the boost a bit.
Dont get frustrated when you're at the tracks. That can lead to bad things. Stay on course, try different things and keep the focus. You'll get there

my slicks were tried at 8.5 all the way down to 7psi .
Zero wheel hop ( i have traction bars and some pretty solid mounts )
the last 2 is what im thinking needs to be done my tuner was saying it will put alot of strain on the stock top end and stock sleeves.

if you are not getting tire smoke in 2nd or 3rd you are either doing the burnout in a puddle, or your slicks are DONE. i suggest starting with figuring that out, and raising the limiter as others have suggested
also, 466hp and 21xx lbs? It seems like it should be trapping quite a bit higher than 124 as well...

i think u guys are right and few others have suggested it the slicks might not be there anymore
and thats what i was thinking with the mph when i had the LS tranny in there i loved it but had 3rd gear grind i was trapping 129mph . i got in car video and ull hear it just bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th

pre-load the suspension in the water box as well as the line while in 2 step then let the clutch out
it also appears you in the box to much meanining staying in the water to much and not enough of the dry track.
roll into the box slip the clutch get the tires all wet roll to where the tires are half on dry and half water then start the burnout this will create alot more heat

yea the first runs i wasnt holding it and on the last ones i was waiting for 2nd pop to tru to gain the traction . going into 2nd . but still spun 2nd when going into gear.

its making 10-11psi on 2step i was also trying to see if less boost off the line would help .

Are you lifting on the shifts? I gained about .5 just going to FTS. And yes ride 1st out a little longer, if you datalog the runs look at the graph and see how much mph you lose on each shift and what the rpm is going into the next gear. If you're losing a lot of mph you need to either ride the previous gear out a little longer on the limiter, raise the rev limit, or improve your shifting.
no i havent tried WOT shifts yet . i can put up one of my last runs i rode each gear out till rev limiter and at the end of the run 4th off the rev limiter at the end of the pass.
im trying to think if its even worth me going to the track again until i get new slicks and try these new things out including wot

fd need to be changed if you are hitting the limiter in 4th in a 1/4 mile i am trapping 150+ on my stock gsr tranny and not on the limitor.

Defenitly doing something wrong i went 11.1 with 376hp 244tq with no 2step also a B18C1 In a EK hatch car sounds okay maybe whats the elevation at that track what about weather ?
