Front End Limiting Straps ??
Ran my type R on the weekend and it worked pretty well on low boost, 11.8 @ 125MPH (1.95 60ft) Looking at run i can clearly see the front lifting a lot.
I know there's a good bit of imports out there running a front end limiting strap set-up. Is there a how to, on this? Or is there a kit i can buy? If there's parts i can buy and put together my self would be great. Prices?
Any input would be great guys. Thanks
BTW suspension is stock ITR shocks with coilovers. Just looking for a simple fix for now.

The consensus is this: Limiting straps do help your ETs if you set them up right. However, whatever suspension problems you band-aid fix with the limiting straps can be permanently alleviated by using a good drag race suspension setup.
Lots of people run the limiting straps too tight which adversely affects the launch of the car because it pulls the wheels up too much.

get better suspension with the proper sprign rate for drag racing. Safer, better solution to get those 60fts down.
also, what size slicks are you using and tire pressure?

Still in the testing stages. Had problems building boost so i had to put back air in the tires to 15psi, no burn out(yes i know it should be at 6psi-8psi) to get it spinning off the line, ended up using MSD 2-step. Its M/T 24.5/8/15 on USDM ITR wheels. Would be happy with a 1.6 ft eventually, what drag suspension would you say is best.

dont forget will that the other way to get 60fts down is by also utilizing a longer 1st gear

What do you guys think about a stiffer rear spring, currently its at 350LB. What do you guys think about a 800LB or 1000LB on stock type R shocks. Would it be too bouncy, due to the stock ITR dampening ?
