Once you get used to everything and run some slicks you'll should be able to break in the 13's no problem.

Back in the day I had a Stock JDM GSR, intake, headers, exhaust with CTR cams and ported GSR manifold and made 179whp and was running 13.6's with 20 inch slicks on steel wheels. This was before Hondata, I was on a chipped P28 with a vtec controller.

I agree. If they can get a 1.9 60ft that would put th car around 13.8

Thanks for the suggestions. In a couple months I'll be doing new cams, bigger injectors, larger diameter exhaust, new fuel pump, stiffer springs and a tune. Will see how that turns out. Not sure if I'll run slicks, but hitting the drag strip seems like a good way to see the performance gains on my upgraded parts.

More power doesn’t always mean faster. Especially in a fwd honda battling traction problems. Like others have said, the quickest and cheapest way to make your qtr mile time faster would be better tires

Yep. My 11 sec car on slicks had a best ever 13.2 on street tires and I had to pedal the crap out of it the whole track. There is a point that slicks or a good track tire is the only way to go
