Finally....9.72@146...
Had a goal set out to run 9s in my street car back in 2005. After a string of many many transmission problems, 10 year old GE sleeves sinking and working crazy hours, car went 10.10@150. Ended up selling the car back in 2009 after going through a bunch of crap in my life.

Fast forward to 2010.....My great friend Mike had been holding onto a car for a while and after some positive encouragement from an amazing
chic(k) in my life, I picked up the shell and started over with a goal to go 9s in 2011 in my street car.
I have been working a ton this year and am also getting my Master's degree so it's been a slow build. But after many more gears breaking and going through turbos breaking, finally today I got into the 9s. The car was on lower boost as I didn't have a lot of time to finish tuning it. 1st gear was 15psi, 2nd gear was 20psi and 3rd and 4th was 24psi. Gonna hit the dyno in early 2012 so I can finish tuning it at higher boost levels and get back out there.

2000 Civic HB
Hot Rod Satin Black
Exospeed CF front end
Exospeed Star8 wheels
B18c, Pro1 cams, 67/65 billet turbo, custom JKOBD.com mil-spec harness, turbo manifold and intercooler setup, ID2000 injectors, DW 340lph fuel pumps with Full-Blown hanger, AIR CF intake manifold, Hondata S300, PPG gearbox.
I know it's not 8s and all that jazz, but the car has a lot more left in it and I am just happy to finally get into the 9s. I made another pass after this one as well and it went almost identical 60' and 1/8th mile times, but I let out at the 1000' mark because broke up a little and went 9.99@121. I have some videos that I need to upload. Bring on 2012.

You got a 9 sec slip and looked damn good doing it. That car is very clean and well put together! Congrats on the pass and also to building a machine that looks as good as it performs!
