I have a gsr trans on my engine right now. I plan on getting an ITR tranny with either the stock final drive or the JDM final drive in it. People have told me that it would be geared for acceleration and I would lose a little top end. Does that mean my trap speeds would drop? Or when people say "top end", they mean top speed?

 

The only thing that would drop would be the maximum achievable speed. You will be accelerating faster you should trap higher.
