I see you are in Texas. Are you close to T1? He could fix you up I am sure.

I believe Wil from Exospeed stock those catch pans. He could probably ship it to you.

I'm amazed that you guys can make "universal" pans for these things. I'd love to see the universal pans on cars with 24-25" tires at race pressure. There's almost no way there's the required 3" of ground clearance.

not something thats actually "legal". ive tried several differnt ways and its nearly impossible, especially since guys have 4 inch downpipes that have an inch or 2 of clearance to the oil pan

I know what youre saying Tony. But when it comes down to it. Some just wanna bolt on something to at least work somehow rather than not having anything there. And you dont have alot of qualified people/sources that can fab one up locally for the amt of money that people want to pay for them. But ya, in many cases that 3" clearance is pretty much impossible for some cars.

We dont have any of these pans anymore. Got our hands in too many things to concentrate on the pans right now.

if in texas GO TO T1 , my pan for this year(all motor) could not be less "universal" had to be custom to fit rules !
my sfwd car has hump in exhaust to go over back lip in catch pan that one was fun to do
if you build it to rules , you dont have to do it again , till they change em ..

damn looks like mine that i quicke fabbed up!
thats so funny cause for my vw golf i made one off a freezer door from work(the freezer didnt work and was gonna get dumped)...and the pan passed tech at Pomona and Cali speedway. i just folded up the corners...riveted up some hangers...sealed the corners with epoxy...and spray painted grey.
now my wife wont let me take it off since it catches any lil oil drip and saves our garage floor.

I may have missed something, but is that pan legal for NHRA ? Most pans I've seen are larger. More like Brian's.

rota had a two piece one that cleared the DP and had notches for the traction bars.

According too the rules, it must cover the engine and tranny. This one covers both of them, and its a exact replica of Dannys and he has passed NHRA rules with it.

I think going around the tractions bars it a little too much,as long as the motor and the tranny is covered i think its fine!!
