I see some other sites that say 30' too. I just know it's above seal level.

Fast track regardless, Infineon is too.

Re: Elevations of California Tracks.. & Vegas......... (h22crxpwr)
thanks dom!! this should help everyone ... remember as you go up in elevation the air gets thinner (less dense) which in turn makes your car run richer , and of course the lower the elevation the better the air quality which will cause your vehicle to run a bit leaner. so example if you were to tune at my shop (appRox 1300ft) and then go to bakersfield (685) your car is gonna be a bit leaner compared to when it was on my dyno... up a couple psi fuel press and good to go. i always highly recc a wideband afr meter so you can actually see the afrs

also remember: weather plays A HUGE factor in altitude corrections ( ex: hot and dry equal higher elevations ( i have been at palmdale when the actually elevation+ the weather = 5500 ft above sea level!!!! crazy crazy

Re: Elevations of California Tracks.. & Vegas......... (WHITFIELD-TUNED)
sac is the fastest track we've run so far. bakersfield is usually .1-.2 tenths off with the same in mph, 1-2 off, fontana is usually .3 and 3mph down when we go, and palmdale we were usually shy of .5 and 4-5mph. but, so is the hole class.

Sacramento's weather isn't that good, though. Too far inland, sitting in a valley.

But it's the only 1/4mile track I've ever raced at, so I can't really complain

not if u have baro correction</TD></TR></TABLE> tru but very few systems ... wait let me re-state there are systems that "boast" this feature, however only a few actually work well. i would still rec logging or at least glancing at a wideband about the middle of 3rd gear or so ...

those that tune at the track= 20% of people (consistant racers/winners)
those that guess=80% of "racers" (sometimes get lucky, most of the time grenade their motors and the come on HT and bash the shop/person that did the motor for them)

" i would rather spend $500.00 on a "proper tune" and run my car for months to come , rather than spend $500.00 on some JDM (gAy'dee-M) crap and get a "ecu chip/program, and lob a rod out the side of my block " how about you?

oh and YES i Have RUN bakersfieldALOT ... back in 2001 i went 11.01@124 mph allmotor crx making only 222hp 153 torque!!!!!

and then 10.61@ 127.6 mph allmotor crx in umm i think 2003?
